This week W Main St was milled and new level binder course is scheduled to be applied to the roadway mid-next week. Brick pavers and irrigation lines were also finalized this week.
Next week, relocation of overhead utilities will tentatively occur at the intersection of W Main St. and High Rd. Village staff is currently coordinating this with utility providers and the general contractor for the Streetscape project. Residents can expect to see some traffic delays at this intersection. Work will likely begin on Monday but may begin as late as Wednesday.
Additionally, the intersection of W Main St. and Spring St. is scheduled to be closed next Tuesday, August 29th. Please refer to the previous construction update post or the Village website to see the map of detour routes. This intersection will be closed for approximately three (3) weeks to accommodate the installation of a "Cary" medallion and brick pavers.
