This week, the contractor made a lot of progress on underground utility work. Although it may not all be visible, over 2,500 ft. of underground conduit has been installed on the North side of W. Main Street for street lighting and traffic signals. In addition to this, the contractor completed framing for traffic lighting and signal structures this week. It is anticipated that underground utility work will continue through next week, which will include the installation of irrigation lines. The contractor estimates working for approximately 3 more weeks on the North side of W. Main before transitioning to the South side.
